We don't just meet, We SERVE.
In spring of 2023 the Mill Quarter Republican Women’s Club (MQRWC) put a plan together to be most effective for the November elections. Through steady fundraising, we were able to donate to women candidates throughout the Commonwealth as well as here at home. Immediately following the primary, it was determined there were 14 candidates (including House of Delegates and Senate) for Powhatan County who proudly identified as Republicans. Of these candidates 5 had never run for office before and 8 were and continue to be, members of the MQRWC. All rallied together to lift each other to success on November 7 th for a CLEAN SWEEP. They continue their quest to serve the people of Powhatan to the best of their ability and we are all the better for it. We now have a fully conservative Board of Supervisors, School Board, and conservative representation in the Virginia General Assembly.
